A little bit about me…

My speciality is hand-needlework on old, discovered postcards, and I am a self-taught embroidery artist.

My passion for collecting and working with historic postcards sparked my creative journey in 2016 with a goal to recover these lost images and produce something fresh.

My first completely realised body of work inspired me to experiment with collage, which resulted in the creation of more than 300 miniature collages using images from books I bought at charity shops.

After that, I acquired a collection of much larger photos, but the collage didn't seem to work, so I decided to try embroidery instead. Ever since, I've been addicted. Many sparkly rainbows, otherworldly masked sitters, and 8bit style cross stitch characters — what I usually make these days — can be found here.

Welcome to my world.
